The Lexington, KY police found Chick Knipp wandering near Rupp Arena early this morning wearing a blonde wig, a meat skirt, stiletto heels and singing Lady Gaga's Born This Way'.
He told Lexington police that he'd been kidnapped after work by a group of muscular black beret wearing African American men who fit the description of the mysterious DROP Squad. He claimed he was forced to listen to Ke$ha records for approximately 48 hours as a group of masked Black women taunted him and told him how much they hated his Shirley Q. Liquor character.
Interestingly enough RuPaul was also DROP squaded back in 2008. RuPaul has come under fire in the African American GLBT community for defending Knipp's blackface drag minstrel show.
Knipp was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital for observation.
Security was increased around Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, Tea Party Presidential candidate Herman Cain, Jesse Lee Peterson, Angela McGlowan, Star Parker and Rep Allen West (R-FL) as a precaution now that the elusive DROP Squad has struck again.

I'm Joining The New Black Panthers
After this bull feces that went down in Maryland, I'm still disturbed over the fact that my people are the ones taking the brunt of the anti-trans discrimination and casualties, and angry over the fact that the leadership ranks of this community resemble a Republican Party convention.
I have concluded that there is only one option left open for me in order to get my people the trans civil rights coverage they deserve.
I have decided to join the New Black Panther Party and fight the white oppression in the trans community with their help.
Yes, I know this will come as a shock to many of you who I have known for decades and fought side by side with against our foes in the Religious Right and the GL oppressors. But too many of you then flip the script and become the oppressors yourselves. I'm tired of it, others are tired of it, and today will be the day when we stop that noise
I will be getting rid of my slave name soon and there will be other changes to come as I go to war against the forces that are keeping my people from reaching their greatness and their potential.
And before you peeps start sending hate e-mail, check the date at the top of the post..

Dan Savage To Transition

"I can no longer fight the desire to live an authentic life and be the person I know I was born to be."
Savage has come under fire from trans people for his transphobic commentary, and most recently calling Washington state DA Rob McKenna a transman. But now that Mr. Savage is becoming Ms. Savage, he asked for forgiveness from his fellow transpeople.
'I'm sorry for all the comments that may have hurt my people. I know I have much to atone for, and I can promise you that I'll be an asset to our community and not a detriment to it."
Now if he'll just apologize his negative comments about African-Americans everything will be copacetic.

I'm Joining The NCTE Board

It's also going to come as a surprise to the folks who are aware of the negative history I have had with the founder and executive director of this organization.
But for the sake of the transgender community, I'm putting that animosity aside to announce that I've been invited to join the board of the National Center For Transgender Equality and will be accepting the invitation to do so.
You know how I've been a big advocate of the 'we need to be in it to win it' school of activism, and frankly, it's time for me to join an organization that has those connections to the inside the Beltway power peeps.
It's all about doing what I can do to help advance the cause of transpeeps of color, and this is one way of doing so.
My term on the board will start immediately, and I'm looking forward to working with the NCTE team and getting our remaining transgender legislative crown jewels passed.
Oh yeah, one other thing before I end this announcement and you start sending me mail in the comments section.
Check today's date.

Drop Squad Strikes Again-Jimi Izrael Targeted

A communique from the Drop Squad was left at a local radio station in which they claimed responsibility for the deprogramming. They stated the reason Izrael was selected over other more deserving targets such as Michael Steele, Chris Brown and Lil Kim was because of his constant anti-woman screeds.
Security around various Black Republicans was raised in the wake of this latest Drop Squad appearance.

I'm Joining HRC

This may come as a shock to all of you who've known me for years as one of HRC's most virulent critics, but I'm pleased to announce that I am joining the Human Rights Campaign outreach team to the African-American GLBT/SGL community.
Some of you may see this as selling out, since I've had much to say on this blog and many others about some of the less than honorable stuff this organization's done in the past to not only impede the rights of transgender people, but ignoring my community as well.

In addition I get to go back home just in time to participate in Annise Parker's historic campaign and reestablish my eligibility to vote in my beloved home state. I'll get to travel on a regular basis as part of this job, speak to various groups, do interviews and I'm getting paid quite well for doing so. I'm getting tired of doing the right thing for peanuts while others in the GLBT movement are living large. It's time for me to get paid for my writing and speaking abilities and garner the higher profile I deserve.
Hey, I gotta look out for number one. I gotta eat too, and I like fly designer clothes as well.
Neiman-Marcus here I come.
Oh yeah, I wonder if they make Jimmy Choo pumps in a size 12. Hey it won't matter, because as much money as I'll soon be making, I'll special order them.
Oh yeah, before you flood this post with hate comments, check today's date at the top of it. ;)

I'm Sellin' Out

TransGriot readers, I have an announcement to make.
Today I'm changing my voter registration to Republican and joining the ever expanding ranks of freethinkng Black people rushing to get off the Democrat plantation.
We African-Americans have always been conservative, and I'm tired of fighting for people that won't take responsibility for their own lives, including you whiny butt transgender people, and not getting paid for it.
I've been in negotiations with News Corporation and I'm pleased to announce that I will become a contributor to various Fox News programs as their expert on the Homosexual Agenda. I will also be leaving Bilerico and starting my new syndicated conservative column on Monday. I'm on the verge of finalizing a book deal with Regnery Publishing to write an expose on the transgender rights movement.

That reminds me, I need to return those calls from Project 21 and the High Impact Leadership Coalition. They've been asking me for information about the transgender community and I'm being paid a nice consulting fee for it.
I'm ready to start rocking designer suits, have Prada purses filled with cash and wear Ferragamo pumps. Oh yeah, that reminds me, my mentor Condi and I are going shoe shopping in New York next week.
I'm leaving my open and affirming church to attend a real Bible believing one that won't tolerate your liberal America-hating family destroying agenda. With the advance check I just got from News Corporation, I have enough cash to not only get that Beemer I had my eye on last week and move back to Texas, I'm gonna do some surgical tune-ups on my body before I make my first television appearance on The O'Reilly Factor.
I've also had discussions with the Log Cabin Republicans about becoming the first African-American transgender Republican delegate. They're already clearing a spot for me in the Kentucky Republican Party delegation if i want it, and they've hinted that they may give me a prime time speaking slot at the convention in Minneapolis.
So farewell, TransGriot readers. This freethinking sistah is going back home to the Party of Lincoln.
RuPaul Hospitalized After Being 'Drop Squaded'

RuPaul was admittted to a New York psychiatric hospital after being found on a Manhattan street corner repeatedly singing James Brown's "Say It Loud (I'm Black and I'm Proud)", wearing an Afro wig, black leather with a black beret and claiming he'd been 'drop squaded.'
'Drop squaded' refers to a 1994 Spike Lee movie in which sellout African-Americans are kidnapped, taken to a secret location and through various methods are reminded of their ethnicity, history and coached to have pride in themselves.
They were only thought to be a fictional group, but with the recent comments of Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, the rumors of the real time existence of the Drop Squad have only gone stronger.

RuPaul has earned the ire of GLBT African-Americans over the years with his lonely and unwavering support for Chuck Knipp. Knipp's Shirley Q. Liquor character is considered insulting by many GLBT people of color and RuPaul has lost credibility in the African-American community for supporting him. Knipp released a statement on his website that expressed his hopes for a speedy recovery for RuPaul.
The security was increased around Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas in response to the Drop Squad's threat and copies of the tape were forwarded to the FBI and Homeland Security.
