Herman Cain, Take Your Own Advice

One of the things I can't stand about the conservafools is their foaming at the mouth ignorance is strength mantra.  They call anyone with an informed opinion about the issues a 'librul'. (and I'm proud of being one, frack you very much).  They sanctimoniously claim to love and revere the constitution, or more precisely the 2nd and 10th amendments to it, but won't acknowledge the other 25 amendments on that 'goddamned scrap of paper' as the previous occupant of the Oval Office called it..

Was chuckling when I heard about the recent presidential campaign kickoff event in which Herman Cain, one of my recent Saturday Sellout profiles, made an embarrassing gaffe.

While lecturing people to 're-read' the constitution, he made this statement:

We don’t need to rewrite the Constitution of the United States of America, we need to reread the Constitution and enforce the Constitution,” Cain said. “And I know that there are some people that are not going to do that, so for the benefit of those that are not going to read it because they don’t want us to go by the Constitution, there’s a little section in there that talks about life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.”

“Because that’s when it says when any form of government becomes destructive of those ideals, it is the right of the people to alter or abolish it.” 

Um dude, 'the life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness' statement is part of the Declaration of Independence.  So is “when any form of government becomes destructive of those ideals, it is the right of the people to alter or abolish it.”


You conservapeeps are so busy trying to rewrite and misinterpret the Constitution to fit your ideological point of view and selfish gain you not only haven't been reading it, you don't know the meaning of any amendments other than the 2nd and 10th, and you're loud and wrong on those, too.

Herman Cain, take your own advice and re-read the Constitution.   Start with the 13th 14th and 15th Amendments, take copious notes and work your way around to the other 24 as well.

Common Fox Race Baiting

Poor Republifools and Fox Noise.     They have spent two and a half years trying to paint the POTUS and FLOTUS as un-American militant Black radicals and failed miserably at it     The Prez just keeps doing his job cleaning up the mess Bushie boy left behind as the clock ticks inexorably toward the November 2012 elections. 

Now that President Obama has accomplished something their dimwitted boy failed to do in getting Osama Bin Laden, they ratched up the hate.

By attacking Common?

Yeah, Common, one of the more thoughtful non controversial people in the rap game today, and star of the movie Just Wright with Queen Latifah.

Because he's from Chicago and attended Rev. Jeremiah Wright's church, the racist smearmongers at Fox Noise thought they could lie and bamboozle their way into creating another scandal because he was invited to participate at a White House poetry reading.

They were probably mad because they didn't get an invite like poets Rita Dove, Jill Scott, Billy Collins, Kenneth Goldsmith, Alison Knowles and Aimee Mann did.

But seriously, trying to paint Common a gangsta rapper is like, and I'm borrowing the words of Dr. Michael Eric Dyson, is like "trying to call Elizabeth Taylor a porn star."  

It does not compute for those us in the reality based world.

Conservafools Hatin' On The Prez's March Madness Brackets

One of the things the president has done since entering office is take a few minutes like 'errbody' else in the country does every March including the TransGriot and fill out brackets for the men's and women's NCAA tournament that gets revealed during an ESPN show and one the White House website..

One of the things I wanted to do on the show was, as people are filling out their brackets -- this is obviously a national pastime; we all have a great time, it’s a great diversion.  But I know a lot of people are thinking how can they help the Japanese people during this time of need.  If you go to usaid.gov -- usaid.gov -- that will list all the nonprofits, the charities that are helping out there.  It would be wonderful for people to maybe offer a little help to the Japanese people at this time -- as they’re filling out their brackets.  It’s not going to take a lot of time.  That's usaid.gov.  It could be really helpful.

But you know the conservafools.  The credits hadn't even finished rolling before the usual suspect conservafools attacked.

Newt Gingrich tweeted yesterday that America needs "a commander in chief not a spectator in chief," insisting Obama was "hiding from his job behind NCAA picks."

Faux News piled on along with RNC chair Reince Priebus and Oxycontin Man.

If this man was in a radiation hazmat suit and dumping water on the damaged Fukushima reactors himself or personally leading the anti-Khadafy rebels in Libya, they'd still find a way to hate on him.

Hypocrite Alert- Grant Storms Busted

One of the things I've noted about our Forces of Intolerance haters is that many of them are either insecure with their own gender identity or sexuality or have seriously creepy issues of their own.

One of those in this camp is Grant Storms.

He's a fundie pastor that if you go to New Orleans' French Quarter will see loudly using his bullhorn to decry and condemn any in his opinion sinful behavior, and is a loud critic of the Southern Decadence party that happens in the French Quarter on Labor Day weekend. 

Well, it seems that Storms is another one of those hate pastors who ain't practicing what he screeches.

The 53 year old Storms was busted by Jefferson Parish Sheriff's deputies on an obscenity charge  in Metairie, LA when two witnesses caught him in a local park touching his junk in a van near the children's carousel.

Hypocrisy meter at maximum strength for this one.
