Just walked into the house after a few days in our nation's capital. It was a much needed mini vacation, even though I spent it lobbying the Senate to pass SR 909, the Matthew Shepard Hate Crimes Bill and saying 'Thank You' to the House members who passed their version I got the pleasure to visit.It was great seeing some old friends, meeting some new ones and getting my exercise bouncing back and forth between the various office buildings and exploring the area round the hotel in Fairfax, VA.
After I roll over and get some well-deserved sleep after the 10 plus hour drive I'll tell y'all what transpired in DC.
